I look for fractals in nature.
Queen Ann's Lace is my favorite example.

It sounds so exotic as "Queen Anne's Lace" - here it's called "cow parsley".

There is structure in nature. Math is a language used to describe structure. The structure is there before the math.

The Umbelliferae can be tricky to tell apart: Daucus carota is simply know as a "wild carrot" - it can be distinguished from cow parsley as it looks like this before the flower comes out.
