Some people who are enamored with math believe it is a essential part of nature, but math is a human invention, and nature has no need for human inventions.
The Umbelliferae can be tricky to tell apart: Daucus carota is simply know as a "wild carrot" - it can be distinguished from cow parsley as it looks like this before the flower comes out.I am not a botanist but "cow parsley" (anthriscus sylvestris) and "Queen Ann's lace" (daucus carota) are different species from the same family Apiaceae.
