Who are you?

Just introducing myself, MY name is Tom, and I'm attending North Seattle Collage, EET-160 very interested in learning more about electronics and trouble shooting for work as a Facilities Engineer, I look forward to corresponding with everyone

Hello everyone!

I'm Denn Obi, a computer engineering student at the University of the East. I'm in my fourth year by now and one year to go, by God's grace, i'll be graduating. I hope that you guys will help me along my journey. Indeed, I'm glad for being part and as a young aspiring inventor, I have lots of questions on my list. :)

Good day! :D :)

I am an embedded engineer and a working professional. I mainly design PIC, AVR and 8051 Circuits and also program microcontrollers in C using mikroC PRO, mikroBasic PRO, mikroPascal PRO, C18, XC8, Hi-Tech C, CCS C Compilers. I am learning STM32, LPCx, PIC32, Stellaris, Tiva programming.

Hi all!

My name's Maarten and I've always been interested in electronics. Experimented with it (some very simple circuits) a long time ago, and a defective amp resparked my interest a few months ago.

Hello,

Good to hear you like the site.
If you have any questions, just start asking.
We will be happy to answer the questions.

There is also the eBook, see the tabs on the top of the page.
The eBook can be downloaded using the PDF sign at the right top on the index page of a volume.
Did you also look at the useful websites thread:

Hi all,
I am Mayar. I just finished my foundation year in engineering at the university. I want to major in electrical engineering . I am really interested in electronics although I am still an amateur but I wish to change that and be able to contribute some day:)!!

Hi all. I am Ahmed and i'm student of automatics and electronic at Faculty of Electrical Engineering Sarajevo. I have just finished, well not jet, but soon i'll finish first grade. Firstly sorry for my english, i'll have grammatic errors, it take a lot of time to search for every word i'm not sure how to spell, so i apologise, time is precious and we engineers don't have enough time...hah...but i think we'll understand each others, if we want to. I'm learning at the moment basic of electric circuits, BJT, MOSFET, JFET, diods etc. I heard that jeger book is really good, so i decided that i'll read it. Thinking of diodes, and pn polarisation diodes and current difuse, and driftes, everything is like human cells. Hope that with knowladge we'll help mankind in developing new medications and make life better...:D

I am a 2nd year Engg. student from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. I am a computer hardware geek. Most of the times, I also like to play with a few electronic components. Presently, learning how to use Arduino

Hey everyone. I'm an EE from Florida and I just signed on as an article writer. Some of the stuff I'm into includes embedded devices, rock climbing, and control systems. I'm looking forward to building some cool projects and sharing them with you guys.

I am a recording engineer in Louisiana. BA in Music from LA Tech. I've built some DIY mic preamps, tube guitar amps, and a few fx pedals. Interested in pretty much anything pertaining to recording music. Currently trying to integrate some reverb tanks into my recording situation. Pd fascinates me but I am only just starting to dig in. Love the idea of my Raspberry Pi but just can't seem to find a use for it.

My name is Walt. I'm a retired Electrical Superintendent. I ran large commercial & industrial construction sites. I oversaw Seatac Airport, Intel's D1b, D1c, & D1d wafer fabs, and a few other fabs in Hillsboro, Or. I started in the trade in 1971 as a student in what they then called Vo-Tech school. It was the only other choice for kids in high school who could not afford college. (no student loans back then)

I have a major interest in Controls, motor, process, machine, etc. PLCs, I'm here to use the textbooks, as a guide to tutor my future grand daughter's husband in the trade. My goal is for him to get his Journeyman's license and then advance to Master, an then further. He must work full time, so formal school is not a real option. So, I tutor him every night for three hours. He learns fast, and since I still own many, many tools of the trade, he gets hands on training at the same time. Seems to be working pretty well. On the side, I'm teaching myself Arduino. I love it!

Hello,

I am Dennis, I graduated in June in the field of mechatronics robotics & automation. Though i'd rather do something with microcontrollers and electronics instead of purely PLC programming.

I have some experience with simple electronics and AVR and STM32F4 & F3 programming. My knowledge is still quite limited at the moment.
One project I worked on as a PCB developper: http://www.hochschule-bochum.de/solarcar.html

I hope to expand my knowledge in the electronics/microcontroller field here. ;)

Regards,
Dennis
