Who are you?

Hi there :)

My name is Nahid and I am a last year Communication Engineering student. I am working on my graduation project which is building a Wireless Sensor Network to monitor a system called Aquaponics. I am hoping to learn a lot here and help as much as I can. :p

Well that's me,

Hello All
My name is JJ White, I've just retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 33 years service. I've started a lawn care company and am in the process of building some projects to make my 12 volt life a little easier. To be specific, alarm system on my new trailer, and actuators to lift a dethatcher and a lawnmower discharge chute cover (so far). I have enough electronics trg and skill to usually get stuff to work, and hopefully not test any smoke alarms in the process. I could hammer through these projects and get them to work, but experience has taught me to just ask those who know better than I do and get 'er done right the first time. In my spare time, I do competitive and freestyle canine disc (frisbee) with my three (3) German Shepherd Dogs and two (2) Border Collies.

Hi I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Looking forward to some interesting learning and practising experience here :) as well as helping as much as I can

Hello to all here at AAC! I have been visiting the forum as a guest for awhile now researching various topics.

I decided to join while reading a few threads today.

Thank you for having me, and I look forward to learning from the group!

Hello, my name is Josh I recently obtained an AS in Electronics Technology. I currently work repairing HF radios to the circuit card level, and occasionally to the component level. I have been programming in C++ as a hobby for about 10 years and I have worked as an electronics technician for the past 11 years.

I am interested in communications equipment and computer programming. Personal electronics projects have always taken a backseat and never really came to fruition for me, I hope to actually follow through and build some fun stuff. I intend on taking the eta-i associate exam soon and some math classes so I can start taking EE courses.

Thank you.

Hello to ALL,

I am Rick Wang, situated in Rotakorn Electronics AB, China office. Based in Sweden, Rotakorn is one of the markets most experienced distributors of electronic- and computer components since 1990.

Thank you,
Rick Wang

Hi, I am Keith Graham. I'm 62 years old and know very little about electronics. I was an electrician many years ago (too long to remember) and I used to be intelligent. I took an Environmental science degree at Uni, but I then had a stroke so now I'm an idiot. I also have lung disease and don't go out much.
However, I have just completed a series of kits (DAC4.1, Mentor L5 pre-amp, Interchange SET 300b monoblocks) from Audio Note and they sound so good I want to know more. I would also like to wrap my few remaining brain cells around the Arduino/Pi control systems if I can.
I hope I can contribute something - even if it is merely my problems :)

Hello everyone! My name is Billy and I have dabbled in electronics since I was about 17. I'm coming up on 41 now.... WOW that's a lot of years! However, I haven't played with it in a number of years and now I find myself needing to learn more about it because of some projects I have in mind. I can build from schematics, read values and have a small understanding of the workings of a circuit. Now what I need some direction on is the math behind building some of the circuits I want to build. I love electronics, and hopefully I can learn from everyone here!
I'm sure I'm missing something, but it'll eventually surface...

Forgot to mention, I'm the manager at Yebo Electronics, retailer of electronic components. Initially we were Maplin South Africa.

Messing around with electronics "since pa fell of the bus" :) Also wanting to learn a bit more than what I currently know due to me building a few projects of my own, namely amplifiers abd sub crossovers etc.

Greeting AAC Community,

I am a student majoring in Electronic & Telecommunication with pursuit of a AAS degree at a community college in the DFW area of north Texas. I found this site a few months ago while in search of better understanding of a circuit, and it has been loved ever since for the enormous amount of information ensuing to my broader and advance understanding to interpretation.:)

Hi everyone! I've been lurking here for a while and finally had a question I couldn't answer with research, so it was time to emerge from the shadows. Nice to be seen!

Aloha! My name is Daniel and I live on the island of Oahu. I retired from the Air Force in 1989 after 20 years. My specialty was as an electronic warfare technician. I have worked on dozens of different systems on a variety of aircraft; B52, SR-71, F-105 and F4 Wild Weasels, F-16s and I was part of the verification/validation team that brought the B1 online. After retirement I went back to school and got a BS in biology (wife has a Ph.d in experimental pathology) and I have been working in bioscience since. I have done stints at the Univ. of Colorado, the CDC, NIH and for the last 14 years at the medical school at the Univ. of Hawaii. I have recently revived my vintage stereo equipment which has gotten me interested again in electronics, especially repair of audio equipment. I have been slowly putting together a hobby level bench to include a tek 2205-40 refurbished scope, a function generator, true rms DVM, variac and a variable output power supply. I am lookin forward to being a member of this group. Hopefully I may even be able to contribute something.

Briefly tell who you are...

I'm a enthusiast student of electronics, professionally I am a Image Editor in Lisbon, Portugal. B)

hopping to learn a lot more from you guys.

Thanks to all in advance.

Best regards,
Pedro Madeira

Hi everyone!
My name is Rosita Permata Dewi. I'm a college student from Diponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia. I'm in my second year now, but i'm still a newbie in embedded system. I join this forum to learn more and ask some question about my lesson. Well, I hope we can learn together. Thanks to all in advance.
Best regards,
Rosita
