You will find this place is exceedingly kid friendly, as well as for families. That was about the age I was when I started taking an interest in electricity.

I am a figure it out kind of guy that's been playing around with electronics since I soldered my first drive heads into place on my old c64 when I was about 7 years old. I am in no way a electronic designer but a lot of times I can come up with solutions just the same. so toss me a question if you want I can help you work on your cars engine or perhaps a electronic project or lot of things between. if I know im happy to try and help.

I just joined this group and certainly it was not my plan to join another blog. However after scouting around a bit I really think highly of what I've seen so far. you guys seem to have it together.

I am 65 years old retired automation applications engineer and I do an introduction to advanced manufacturing for high school kids, they receive one college credit for taking my course.

Just a retired journeymen boilermaker, but i do have a degree in BASIC electronic that is 30 years old.I am very interested solar electrical power generation.I have worked around powerhouses, mining installations and refineriers. they all use a tremendous amount of power. At one time they were all analog ,then digital electronic (a good thing) .In college we did not have calculators (the 60's) .We made all our calculation using slide rulers keeping powers of 10 in your head or on papper. I am not boomerlar because I am older. I am boomerlar because I boomed out or busted. That is the life of a BOOMER.

Hi I am a hobbyist primarily hooked on programming as both profession and leisure. In addition currently studying engineering degree and looking to expand on my limited knowledge of circuit design with the assistance of the community. Lets take this world apart!

Hello. I'm a fellow with an EECS degree who went into software for 15 years and then got out of the field without having ever really used his electronic design education professionally. My interest is in older electronics -- 1970s era computers and tube amplifiers specifically, both of which I have analyzed, repaired and restored successfully, so I may be asking questions about those sorts of things. I currently work with stained glass for a living, so I did wind up swinging a soldering iron, just a bigger one than I expected to back in the day.

hey guys! I am a chemical engineer by education, but a computational chemist/biochemist by profession. I meddle with electronics and programming to keep my fancy equipment running at work so that I get enough data to analyze and keep my day job!

I am an electronics technician but unfortunately because of serious illness hampering my physical abilities,i am not in professional work anymore.i find because of my situation time to study more and doing hobby electronics.i like tube audio and i am interested in microcontrollers.

I'm an aging data analyst in the UK. I've recently switched directions and have taken over running a community centre and, initially, I'm after some help with security
