That sounds like a lucrative hobby! Mechanical and electromechanical 'One Armed Bandits' tend to go 'high' at auction!

Welcome to AAC!:D:D:D

Best regards

No not lucrative, I have 10 machines between 30 & 40 years old, some of the chips can be expensive to source. There is always something going wrong. Its not about money but the fun of the hobby. Being a collector I tend not to sell much anyway.

Lifelong U.S. citizen. "Electrician" by trade. Lots of construction experience, as well as industrial controls, machinery tech support. ....like since the late 1970s.

I really like this site, and am very impressed with much of it and it's members. I grew up near Chicago, and tend to be a smart-ass, so if I come across as irritating, shrug it off and assume I'm being facetious.

I've taken lots of classes, gotten many certifications and licenses (and let many expire), used to be an IEEE member, but alas, I hold no degrees, so I expect many will disregard me entirely. I'm Ok with it.

Nice to become part of this group.
