myself Mudassir Hussain, from Pakistan, doing job in Saudi Arabia,
also studying Electronics Technology,
i need THYRISTOR CIRCUIT FOR DC MOTOR PHASE CONTROL,can any one help plz..
Hello everyone,
I am Kush from Panjab University, India pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in electrical.
I am always excited with my subjects and I have joined this forum so that I can troubleshoot other people's problems related to circuits.
Hoping I could answer your questions.
Regards.
Hi. I'm a software developer with no electronics skills whatsoever but wanting to understand how things really work, and maybe build some simple gadgets, for fun and education. I came across the AAC site looking for explanation of what 'voltage drop' is (don't fully understand yet ;d), found the DC tutorial and here I am.
Cheers.
On the tab Textbooks, you will find our eBook.
The eBook can be downloaded using the PDF sign at the left menu.

Hi, I am a 35 yr old Diesel mechanic who has explored the boundaries of my field to their limit in regards to mechanical, paint and panel, upholstery, general electrical to the current interest for precision electrical components. I now am trying to teach myself the intricate world of electronic modules and what i can do with it in the automotive aspect. After reading the site disclaimer and 'NO-NO' topics, i can say no more on my intentions for electronic knowledge in regards to automobile modifications but i do rather enjoy this site for information to assist me in pursuit of information.
Welcome to All About Circuits. Glad you took the time to read the Terms of Service, especially the restrictions on automotive modifications discussion.
This does not mean that you cannot benefit from the wealth of information and discussion on the fundamentals of electrical and electronic circuitry. Learn the basics. Get lots of practical experience building your own circuits. You are free to apply your knowledge to automotive applications on your own.
Hi,
I'm Terry, a computer science engineer and a HAM (amateur radio) who mostly build electronic kits. I also try some circuits just for fun. I also fly/build some remote control stuff (quadcopters...) as well as try to coach a robotics team of teenagers. So I'm a newbie in electronics who isn't afraid of soldering (including surface mount components), and who had some formal university-level classes in electronics (analog and digital stuff). I'm much more familiar with the digital side of things, but I want to get back into building some analog circuits as needed.
This site seems great
Dear all, I don't know how to introduce myself. My major is nuclear science and technology, but my present work have few relationship with it only the radioactive source does.
I really want to be a hardware designer. Once I did the R&D work of nuclear instruments like gamma, neutron survey meter, now I'm in charge of a workshop to assembly the
scanner used to measure the paper quality. In my spare time, I study The Art of Electronics and Electronic Device. From last month, I find my life developing direction that is
machine learning. In the future, it will be the main flow. The specialty refers to many disciplines, and these days I revised the past learning like linear algebra and probability.
I'm happy to log on this net. Sorry my long introduction.
Hi. I am in charge of non-propulsion plant testing on U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers. I don't sit still much. I have a large garage with many projects constantly going on, from golf carts, cars, small engines, appliances, etc. My latest endeavor is installing a dumb waiter at my beach house....which ultimately brought me to this site for schematic info.
Good day everyone, I'm a double student (for one hand: degree in musical composition and for the second hand, electronic engineering) I'm not coming to ask too much, since I already finished all subjects of my engineering.
Hi All,
I'm finishing up an AAS in Electronics and am pretty much a hobbyist. Also, this is my first forum, so I may not be up to date on forum etiquette. Anyway, I look forward to the group.

Not to worry. We're civil around here. Rather than being bombarded with forum rules, just go ahead and join in the discussion or post a new question. We'll be sure to correct you if you make a faux pas.
i hope every one will give me good answers.......
when we are finding current and voltage expression for RC circuit at t>0 is this steady state? give me brief explanation
I'm just a tech with no " official " schooling . I been working on electronics for over 15 years . I started most probably like everyone , as a kid , taking apart anything with moving parts lol . Then after many years of tinkering I started reading manuals and textbooks to learn wat was actually going on . For a self taught tech I do ok . Any questions just ask
Hey guys I'm a 24 yro touring puppetier from New Orleans. I've been touring with Lightwire theater for about 1 year now and slowly learning the basics of circuitry and the use of Electro Luminescent wire to illuminate our creations. My hope is to start to incorporate an arduino system to help with our user puppet interface. Anyone whose interested in helping with tech development or sage advice would be much appreciated.
