AAAAHHH..

I love you guys.

No.

Ahhh, Vidya.. She was a great person.

Funny thing, she had a roomate in college named Porna.

So their door in the dorm said: Porna Vidya. aaaawwww.. how cute.

I wonder when she will come back to visit. Hopefully she googles her name and finds this.

So anyway, It is true, I lied about my age... But ca'mon John, mentally I gotta be around 13-14 right? :)

Hi everybody, My name is Jairo, I'm student of the last year of electronics engineering....mmm I from Colombia and I hope to be able to help somebody and to find answers for my questions!!

HI very new to electronics but when I found this site seems like just what I needed some one with some patience to help us newbies out. I`am currently taking a course online for electronics and have some basic knowledge of electronics. learn alot from my father who is an electical engineer but what i want is alittle out of his area. I`am working on a model railroad and found many projects to try but can`t get my first project to work , making to leds blink alternetly

Welcome to AAC!

You want to talk circuit you need to take it to the Electronics Chat area.

As a suggestion to all, put the time zone and approximate location in your profile, so folks can relate to what time of day it is for you. It is also handy for helping you locate parts.

One last thing, turn on your private mail! This is not the same as email. If someone wants to contact you it is how it is done. PM is not meant to be used for electronic discussions, but to communicate personal information, things like email or postal address that you don't really want known out there.

Welcome. Jump into the electronics forums and have fun.

The book has some interesting features, like the experiments section (Volume VI).

Wow, honestly I'm a little upset with myself for not finding this forum sooner. All the hours I've spent googling online for help with EC homework and here is the mother ship!

I'm a current student at the University of Houston studying Electrical Power Engineering & Technology. Unfortunately our class is a "Beta class" of sorts UH is using for testing to improve the program. This leads to a lack of support for academic help on campus.

I love electronics and I am still learning. We use Pspice for simulations at school but the TA's and professors don't provide much assistance. If anybody is proficient with the program I would love to ask a few questions.

Welcome. There are many folks here that are good at many things.

You may want to post a more specific question concerning PSpice in the Electronics forum, or the homework forum (if you have work to show).

4th-year EE student here, plodding along with micros, some RF stuff and low freq. (audio/sonar, etc.) analog. Trying to learn about FPGAs and the new ARMs with those fancy customizable IOs.

Welcome.

Another Canadian.. Do you hate 741 opamps too?

(You'll get the joke soon enough)

How do you feel about Chinese LEDS?

Nevermind. Welcome aboard. ;)

I think all LEDs are Chinese! What I'm sure about, though, is that I didn't get either joke. (Presumably there's a fanatic canuck who "hates" 741s [which is kinda weird as they are a bit of a simple, if obsolete, device to garner such emotional baggage] and got a bad batch of LEDs from the grey market. I'll keep an eye out.)
Thanks.

He can't help himself, just short of foaming at the mouth. You don't want to compliment this device, ever, where he can read it.

He does offer good technical advice. He's a retired engineer.
