Is it better to have rounded edges or 90 degree edges at the corners? Does the size of the PCB have an impact on this (like the smaller PCBs are better off having certain types of edges/corners)?

 

If there is mounting holes in each corner, it usually looks better to use rounded corners that follow the mounting at the larger radius.

There is no single answer. It depends on your board, layout, signal, frequency, current, voltage, and application.

 

I would think that it is mainly a question of esthetics!

As cheap as PC boards are, it makes little difference in price unless you're making thousands of them. That being said, Max is correct, it's mostly esthetics. How do you think it will look?
