What's wrong with Raccoon?

Raccoons are the primary source of rabies in the USA (https://www.addl.purdue.edu/newsletters/2003/summer/rabies.shtml ). Though it is said that cooking will kill rabies virus, remember that someone has to prepare the meat. What are you going to do with the trimmings? I hope you don't put them down the garbage disposer. I'll just bring my McDonalds' to your next dinner party. :)

As for what's wrong with them. They are extremely destructive (I live in a log home) and can be quite aggressive. I dislike ground hogs even more.

I've had raccoon, and sort of enjoyed it. You have to cook it outside or your house will never be the same. The meat was juicy, tender and similar to nice stewed beef, but REALLY flavorful. I'd certainly eat it again, especially if I was dieting, when everything looks better.
