I notice it refers to a forum search. I assume you didn't do a search?

It looks like that the CSS file has not loaded correctly.
Also there is a broken image visible.
Normaly a refresh of the page should hlep.

I clicked "New Posts", which is considered a search. Then it brings up the page with odd spacing, broken images, etc.

Thanks Bertus. I tried a refresh and it didn't seem to do any good. It's been doing this for a couple days now....

 

Did you try to clear your browser cache?

 

I looked at just now, from here it looks OK. Try a second computer, just for starters, then we look at browsers. I never use the feature, so I am not familiar with it.

Just tried that yesterday evening, as I was having *more* issues with paypal. It still didn't seem to help.

I think it must have something to do with my computer. It does the same thing for both Chrome and IE--broken images and the strange spacing. I guess it has to be on my end, if you guys aren't having the same problems.

Try to connect to the forum without the proxy.
You can do that using a "portable" version of firefox, wich is part of the portable applications suite.

Could be. My ISP can't seem to really do anything right

 

It sounds like your computer could be infected. Even the possibility is not good.

MajorGeeks.com has a free (some of it shareware) suite of programs you might want to consider running. You will loose all your cookies, but they are very good with helping to clean out malware.

 

It's also worth checking your routers settings for DNS server, some malware can change this especially if you haven't changed the default password. Check the addresses against what your ISP recommends.
I connect to mine by putting 192.168.0.1 into the browser, but the method varies from router to router.
You could download Ubuntu or other Linux and run from a CD. This would get around any problems with the Windows install.
