What's all the fuss about with this Malvino book?

I use kindle for most light reading. For the technical, pdf remains th best except in the case of large schematics.

In that vein, maybe a return to the past with block diagrams opening a new page linked to the schematic.

I took a speed reading course in 1980. We did a pretest and post test of speed and comprehension.

Both insreased. It does no good to read fast if the comprehension is zilch. All your doing is turning pages and lying about the speed.

I really fudged the speed test in high school. :D

The test material was something I had read before, so I scored 1000 words per minute with 96% comprehension.:eek:

40+ years later, I still have no idea how fast I read.:p

Risking to derail this thread even more: what stopped me the most is the fear of being caught by propietary formats. :( Is it the case of Kindle? Googling about ereaders, seems overwhelming to me.

Could you comment briefly?
