What're better? Voltmeters or Voltage Comparators?

Designing and building one EEG channel alone is a challenge if you don't know how to do it. Building 200 EEG channels is another monster altogether.

btw, you could have gotten straight to the problem if you had posted a title such as:

How to record 200 EEG signals?

This is not for the amateur. There is commercial equipment to do this.
Google 256 EEG channels.

I was trying to address each problem as it arose. And I don't really have a budget, but at this stage it's more of a proof-of-concept if anything.
The obvious route (for most people) would be to thoroughly research the subject and then, when the requirement is fully understood, focus on the design for just one channel rather than jump to the bizarre conclusion that hundreds of cheap voltmeters are the solution.

Why didn't you just state your full intentions in post#1, you could have saved a lot of time?... although, by post#6 it became clear that all is not well with this thread:rolleyes:

Yeah.. I'm sorry. I'm a bit new to this like you worked out, and, at that point, I thouhgt it wouldn't be necessary to point out what I was doing sorry about that! But thanks for understanding..

We see this occasionally on AAC forums as well as in face to face queries.
It is akin to someone asking, "Which is better, a screw or a nail?" without revealing what they are attempting to do.
