I met with three figures. The manager, shop manager & the owners wife.
I shared my thoughts and showed them the pictures of sabotage.

I said to them if they want me to fix the machine, I want nobody near it while I am away. The place should be locked if I am not there. I cannot fix it if someone keeps breaking it. I gave them the photo's and I left. But I did told them to wait till the machine is fixed, this way I can confirm what happens when certain components are missing. In other words I can simulate the faults without a damage to the machine and show the owner what were the effects of the missing components.

Further more I cannot understand what was that Chinese warning tht comes when powered. I need to know that. That is also a reason why I came home, to ask our dear Happy what the heck is it their people writing on exported machines :D. Why can't they program it in English.

Oh wait..My bad.. much later I found out that I can switch languages but the darn thing won't respond to a button.

And after knowing that the message was useless to me I went back next morning.

I installed the PCB rechecked all the fuses and after a thorough check on the wires and everything that is currently accessible to me, I powered up and this time the monitor is dead. I mean nothing. Blank. Dead.
Yesterday it was at least displaying the Chinese square thingy's but today, nothing.

I was speechless....or rather .

Manager and everyone was there. I thought I screwed up big time for the first time. But I kept my cooooool..u know..keep ur cool.....took the meter and checked the voltages. Previously from the Triac PCB a 15A fuse was replaced with a 3 Amp one and it was blown. So, my instinct led me to that part. All the previous voltages was there except the 12V that is around that fuse area. Checked twice, checked thrice. I traced it and tht 12V is coming from the other side of the CPU cabinet.

Went to the front and checked the Motherboard PSU.

It was dead. no Voltage, no green light. PSU was Kaput !! so , I thought ...which makes strike 4 for the old guy.
Manager was there this time sitting right next to me.

Sabotaging circuits/theft by repairman, etc.

There are issues where the owner tried to "fix it himself to save money", but that's different. They usually do enough damage to the point it is cheaper to replace than fix all the fried stuff.

Quote the Old Guy "I bought the machine from abroad and I sold it to the company."

Sounds like he wants to sell them a NEW machine, and your standing in his way :D

Components don't just fall out. They have to be removed forcefully. And you could put forward your case that you are a reputable technician and that nobody else has had problems with missing components when you fixed their machines. It sounds like sabotage and the guy working for them is involved somehow. Best to just tell the manager what you think.

Time to update..

I have a reputation and My work definitely lasts longer than any one else and I NEVER create a fault other than there is.

Main problem is, owner does not know me ( We met ) & the geezer is an old employee, without any prior. So, he brought the authority to find the guy who did it..
Best part is, authority is having a field day identify which is which. Technically they dunno anything

Hmm, tell them to search for the components? Maybe the tech just threw them in a bin...

It would be pretty difficult to prove anything though.

I removed all the cables from the PSU and was about to come home with it. I dunno why but something hit me. I stopped, sat down took the PSU & connected the 220VAC line and powered up. Monitor still dead, but this time green light is back.
Checked the voltages. +12V & +5V was there as stated.

Powered down connected the 5V line, powered up checked still supply is OK.
Powered down, connected the 12V line, powered up and the monitor came to life, but still with the darn message. I was stumped. How did it restarted, sat there thinking how..how... wait...what if the culprit cut a wire when power was there..that could lead to a PSU short circuit protection to be activated.

I searched for the geezer...he is no where to be seen..oh wait ..he is there at the monitor..pressing all the buttons on the monitor and the monitor is stuck, just keeps on beeping every time a key is pressed. And this guy and the operator is like two kids ....beep..beep.....beep...beep....beep...beep....beep...beep....beep...beep....

Manager was just sitting there, rather confused I think. But he's OK..cool guy...I looked every where to see how the machine could be reset after a power failure, did everything the manual said but still nothing.

I went under again to look for more sabotage. Cut all the cable ties, took out the wires from the casings, I totally unraveled the wires. I have to find something again. Kept looking and finally came to the Motherboard

Powered down and took out the board and showed the missing component to the manager. I cannot say anything since the bugger was around. I said I have to get a capacitor. I came back and went with a 10μf and 100μf one...I honestly cannot tell what should be there but the continuity check led me to a LCD jack has one pin connected to the that Cap's positive.

And that cap also have a some diode resistor around there. So, judging by the layout size and circuit I placed a 10μ first. Soldered and still nothing...placed a 100μ and nothing....

The machine just sits there....I continued to check the cables closely...as my torch battery was going down and it was somewhat too dark to actually see anything, I said to the manager I have to go a read the manual thoroughly and come back after recharging the torch.

Manager agreed, powered down. I took the manual. every one was out, I came out last and locked the door and came home.

I was reading the manual when the manager called and said that he needs the manual and said he will send some one to pick it up. So I gave the guy the manual.

I was updating the thread when the call came at around evening. Manager said that cops were there and he would like me to come.
As I went inside, the forensics were leaving. I bet they were trying to get finger print. All they will find is my prints....But yet, what if they found a geezer's print some where inside. His hand should not go in there as he is an employee. I dunno what they did and I explained everything to the cops then. Showed the pics and came home.

At around 7 PM the manager called and said that the owner would like to meet me, so I set a time around 2130Hrs.

2130Hrs.
The old guy, the manager and the owner was there. Owner wants to hear the old guy's story....problem is, I really cannot understand why the owner would want to hear him talk about the machine. When I clearly knew that old guy knows nothing about CNC or electronics. It is his belief that no Maldivian has the capability to fix that machine. He repeatedly kept on saying that time after time. Obviously I never met the owner, so he dunno me. But the old guy is like family.
The owner was just listening.

I have never, in my life came across any one, or no one has ever shut me up just by talking about electronics here. Never....I always have an answer and I always gets back at who ever dares me.

But this time, I really dunno what happened to me, I was speechless. I tried to record what the geezer was saying but I cannot even got that right that night. When the old guy started to talk, I was stumped. I just sat there banging my head. I have no words or get backs...nothing..it was so pure and true and so over whelming.

The machine is like piece of heaven that only he knows how to take care of and then
I came and ripped the machine apart, I was sweating, I spend hours finding things. I cut the wires. I ripped open the needle assy or sumthing.I soldered this and that..all the cables were hanging, I was drilling the cabinet. I was throwing the PSU around.
That machine should be touched with sterilized hands as it seems.

Sigh!! Like I said..I was mute. I remember him ;pointing me fingers about something that never happened and I remember telling him right to his face twice that "didi you are lying, that is a lie". But the owner doesn't seem to care.

Of course why should he care...he has money...all he has to do is make a call to dahao or better yet go to china and bring the ones who made it and fix it.
I am the one who is loosing..I wasted my time and money....and got blamed for things I never even dreamed of doing...for god's sake, I do not even knew these people or the machine before. Why the hell would I destroy doing what I love to do most.

It is this kind of people that I am getting fed up with. It is this kind of owners that I get pissed off. I really don't care who reads this or not. But enough is enough. I gave my free time, hrs to the cops to tell every bit of detail on what happened. To do the right thing for the wrong people.
But no...these kind of people could not care less about who actually works to live here. I know why, if I say it, I'll be in deep hole than this.
None of u will ever see me again.
