What would this be used for exactly I know it's for led build. But not sure what else.

Soo long story short I am a tinkering type of person and I seen a bunch of stuff at an auction from a led manufacturing company well I'm above and beyond my knowledge by far. I'm completely green when it comes to circutry...so I have a couple hundred of these boards and don't know what to do with them any help on figuring this out would be awesome. Would love to know what I could build with it. Aldi then sell the rest. It hurts my heart to see this much work put into these to never get used.

Probably only worth while stripping them and keeping them for future projects, Mosfets, WW resistors, connectors and Heat sinks.
Max.

Ya I would probably never do that. No patience. I have a ton of different led cobs also That I bought that I was hoping to be able to use with them just don't really know the approximate MA or anything like that. Thanks for the fast response.

They look like they are some sort of analog ("linear") current regulators for LEDs that I'm guessing would run at quite high current. The big resistors are rated at 5 W each, and to get to that power in total for the two of them in parallel would require 7 amperes. The heatsink on the FET isn't up to much power unless there was forced air.

Those resistors are worth over a dollar each even at 1000 pieces.

These are some of the leds I bought too. There is about 6000 of them I have 19 boxed with around 3 to 400 in each box. Most of them are damaged.

There are some of these smaller LEDs. Also.

All 7 pictures in the first post are from the same current control board? It doesn't seem very complicated; trace the components, make a schematic, and post it here. If you can't do that, you can't expect any help in determining what they do or what they're worth.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to any circutry. I would not know where to even start.

Experiment with different voltages and currents, starting with low values, and go from there.
That's kind of what I did because I was testing out some of the drivers that I have and they were 150w and not dimmable and I was testing them with a single led and I didn't want it to blow up so I hooked one of those in line and it cut the wattage in half.

This jas been my past 24 hours. Too excited to even sleep lol. Went through and so far have about 100 good cobs. And 15 good drivers. I have another 10 drivers to check and about another 6500 more chips to go. They are mainly 82w bridgelux RS array chips and vero 29 81w. 15441226191455477062381489120162.jpg

If you don't mind me asking, how much money did you sink into all of that? Did you get any background story on the stuff? Failed product design, cancelled project, out of business? But the big question is ... How long before your wife tells you to get all that crap out of the spare bedroom?
