I'm not sure what you are basing 3 mm on. Looking at the ruler, it looks like about 1.5 mm to me. That would make it an 0603 (confirming what Ian0 thinks). Though that's if you are using Imperial codes. The metric code is different.

Apparently you did not look at it, since it gives metric sizes. The 0603 is metric 1608.

Yes I am aware there was metric and imperial on the sheet
which is why I mentioned I'm in Europe and we use the metric one,
to use our phrase, and if you look, there is a metric 0603 and imperial 0603,
what is your point ?

 

I think you should be able to distinguish between 0.6 mm and 1.6mm, no? It is an imperial 0603 obvuously.

 

I still don't get your complaint, unless your trying to find problems that dont' exist,
I posted a , what I thought was a useful document for the OP, and may be others, showing them how these resistor are sized, and adding that we'd tend to use the metric system due to my geographic area.,
And to highlight that a 1608 could also be called a 0603
or a 0603 could be called a 0201.
