Hello ,
i do not have function generator to generate various waveform that is needed to be provided to the input of opamp circuit. What should be the input signal? and how can i view the output signal on cro?

An op amp circuit can have thousands of variations.
Which one is yours? o_O

What type of testing do you need to do, functional or performance?

What do mean, how can you view the signal?
You just connect the cro input probe to the output of the opamp and adjust the vertical gain and horizontal sweep speed to see the waveform.

The ubiquitous '555 IC can be used to make a simple triaangle/square wave generator. Gazillions of circuits online.

What circuit are you referring to ?
Why don't you post a more complete and detailed answer, explaining what do you want to achieve, perhaps with a schematics ?
