Please suggest how its ans should be (b).
It's obvious that the answer is (b). And no calculations are even required. Just rule out the situations that can't happen when the diode is reverse biased, then rule out the situations that can't happen when the diode is forward biased.

In this section we wait for the student to show their work first.

Anyway, here is the diagram which i think is easier to read.
This one was so bad i had to make it a negative image.
