Photo cell, ultrasonic, light led opto, piezo,,,,,,,

 

Will resistive touch work. Although person also hit it with glove.

SO I dont know it may break? Is there any way it can be made strong enough??

Re: photocell and LED in row and column? How do you deal with two hits on the same column at the same time?
Maybe pressure sensitive resistors.

I have tried using resisitive touch. But not much success. There is voltage change across x & y axis. But it need pressire to do that. A simple hand touch is not successful.

Will try to use piezo & check

Capacitive sensors
Displacement sensors
Pressure sensors

Tact switched, or any one of thousands of elrctro-mechanical switches

 

But where to place this electro-mech switch? What would be right position??
