Again today, deep into San Remo festivals of the sixties. Something 99% of people in U.S. has no clue exists, never even heard of it, less its music... Nearly orgasmic memories to me

Waltz (American slow and Vienese), Tango, Foxtrot, Swing (East coast and West coast) , Hustle, Rumba and Cha Cha, and Salsa.

But all I hear is enough to keep the rhythm and identify the phrases.

Pretty much anything except rap and opera.

At the current moment...

Usually either loud and obnoxious (Anthrax, Korn, Pantera, and the like) or classical (Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Rachmaninoff). Older country (Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Willie Nelson) some days, and everything in between.

The first time I put Tchaikovsky in iheartradio and let it go most of the music reminded me of old chase scenes and general mischief in Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry cartoons from a long ago time.

(there are historic reasons why i like such **it -- Japan and J-maple is the spirit of Mom6 - volcanoes - the spirit of granpa9 (in Japan) or "me"-younger -- i don't play computer games nowadays . . . however this puter came is a "pioneer"-spirits' fight related stuff . . . much likely if you play well you may train the spirit of the game figure = "you are what you do" . . . if you "do" spirit . . . )

▲ the most free (unspiced) performance
▼ an interesting arrangement + likely the best vocal for that song

The 60s but I like a wide range overall. Years ago there was a great website which had what we called Vietnam War Era Music. This guy had endless compilations to click on. Sometimes in the late evenings if I was working on my computer I would just go to that site and get lost in the music. Anyway being a child of the 60s I do gravitate more to that music. Then too I just had Alexa play Take on Me. :)

Ron,

I strongly feel 'Stoneground' was a largely underated/overlooked act and one of my favorites! -- Linked is an excerpt from and old-time film featuring a performance by them - Please check it out!:) -- Makes me sad to have been born too late (year of birth=1975) to have 'participated' in the 1970's, as it were...

Best regards
HP
