While I have enough for the near future, I can foresee the need to buy more.

Nope, similar to the kind of pins you would find on a header. 0.032” Square

I saw nsaspook posted in #5 similar as your parts, but I still can make sure, malybe you can take a picture just for an independent one and clearly.

The thing on the top of the pen is a wide spot to keep the pin from going through on the circuit board. The pin is 0.6” long. As I said earlier it is 0.032” Square as measured by a caliper.

There was a time telecommunications racks used wire wrap to wire them. Over time it was found that this technique is unreliable in the long term, and was discontinued. These pins were frequently used to modify printed circuit boards. They're over 20 years old.

It should come as no surprise that I am an old fart (or is that fartess).

I once worked in a Swiss Screw Machine company that produced many different kinds of connector pins. Wire Wrap pins were one of the many. I believe they were predominately 0.035", but that was back in 1998. It's been a while since then. And I, too, am an old fart. One that seems to linger long after the laughter ends.
