EDIT - mistyped; 10 mH, not 1 mH; there is a small chance the marking is in nanohenries and the value is 10 µH, but that would be contrary to usual marking practice

I can't tell how the core is made from the photo. It looks like a "shielded" type where there is a sort of cup that encloses the winding which is made on a separate part. The core will almost certainly be ferrite of some sort. Give the inductance and physical size, it will likely be rated for only a few tens of milliamperes.
