I cant wrap my mind about classes of amplifiers, especially about standing currents. I would be grateful if someone could make explain this to me.

What about reading in advance for the different types and coming with more concrete questions?

 

I have discussed many amplifiers and have never talked about standing, sitting or lying down currents. Maybe it is the Quiescent Current when the amplifier has no signal?

Wikipedia says, "Quiescent current (the standing current when there is no signal".

 

Do you mean "Quiescent Current" for push-pull type Class B??

 

All amplifier classes have their own quiescent current. You can heat your home with a class-A amplifier even when it has no signal.
