Hi,
I want to know difference between osek os and other rtos os.
I have worked on RTOS. but i don't have idea about OSEK os.
I have read basic of osek os. But i want to where exactly it is used.

RTOS is a "Real Time Operating System"
OSEK is a Offene Systeme und deren Schnittstellen für die Elektronik in Kraftfahrzeugen; English: "Open Systems and their Interfaces for the Electronics in Motor Vehicles"

Thanks for the links.
I have worked on RTOS but not OSEK.
But after reading i get to OSEK is also a RTOS/OS.

Means in automotive, we can use either RTOS or OSEK. both are work similar.

I have some doubts.
1.But is there any case, we can use both in one processor. Because i have saw one condition that, both os are running on Same processor.
2. Can OSEK work independent of CAN?
