Removing rusted and stuck parts can be a humongous pita if one doesn't have the right equipment.

Pulling these check valves has already got me stymied.

 

In any case, unless I had a way to rebuild the boss on the aluminum casting, repairing the valves would be useless anyway.

Neither is the original part. Both have the same shaft and bolt pattern, reviews are similar, and both have been used on my washer model.
