What can be added in addition to a 24VDC Smart GPS that loses power momentarily while changing directions.....

While in operation, GPS Antenna acquires and stays with a steady satellite count of 24-27 satellites. ***If I change direction in the middle of the operation, power drops out to the antenna and cause an angle error issue and WAAS fix dropout. This is literally less than a 5 second lapse in power being supplied.

Trying to figure out and how to implement and put in place, an external power supply, capacitor, or small solar device to solve the power dropout phase of directional control.

Please tell us a little more about your system. What is it and how is it supplying power? Why does it need to drop power when changing direction?

This should not happen. I do not want the power to drop out. I need the antenna to stay energized while the system changes and goes in the opposite direction. It is only a very brief and short period of where the power drops. this is where I need to rectify the issue.
control voltage is the following.
480vAC to Transformer.
Transformer providing 24VAC to a smoothing Bridge rectifier which provides 30VDC to the Controls.

Do you have any specifications on the transformer and the smoothing bridge rectifier?

Are you running a motor or actuator to change the direction? Is this motor or actuator running from the same 30 VDC power supply?
