Me and my Mother are at a loss so I thought I would ask for some help here.

My Mother and I have are Food delivered to the House from ShopRite from Hatfield.

She puts the order in on a Win11 Pro. DeskTop Computer.

My Mother has a Heart Condition and can not lift anything heavy and I am Legally Blind so it is hard for me to go out then come back in with the begs.

The service that ShopRite from Hatfield uses is Uber and they always tell me when they come they can not bring anything in the House.

ShopRite from Hatfield tells me they do not tell them anything like that and to call Uber.

I call Uber and give them my Oerder Number and they look it up.

They tell me I have a Check In A Box that says Leave At Door.

They tell me to put the Check In The Box that says Meet at Door.

I have nothing like this thats shows on my End.

I call ShopRite from HatfieldShopRite from Hatfield and they tell me they have nothing like this on the WebSite.

Uber tells me they can not take the Check Out Of anything they can just Look up and Read my Orders.

I do type in the Box for Driver Notes I even say Ring Doorbell and they do not.

Can anybody help?

Thanks for the time.

A low-tech solution would be to involve a trusted third party such as a neighbor to intercept your orders and bring them in to you.

Other than that I'm with @MaxHeadRoom: The grocer is likely the one making the most money off you and they have some responsibility to ensure good service end-to-end. If they can't/won't do that, go elsewhere. The grocer has the power to influence Uber drivers more than you do, even though you're the one paying Uber.

Giving bad ratings to the Uber drivers is probably not a good idea. It's not really their fault and if drivers learn you might give them a bad rating, they'll avoid you. Maybe there's a way to reach out to a few individual drivers and use only them? Most of them WANT to do a good job.
