Vibration and resonance can cause some interesting failures, that is certain. AND that is why windings should not vibrate. Thus varnish is our friend.

then I dipped whole coil armature in old school varnish to reglue it all together. That was 20 years ago on a large air compressor motor, it still runs fine today.
I recall my time in the (re)-winding shop during my training, armatures and stators were oven baked , then varnish dipped.

@ low IQ keeper of facts that hurt feelings. 2020 Chevy 31500 miles. Down 1.5 qt's in 7.2k miles. Don't get me started on the jeep or Honda CRV. Sure modern CNC equipment with diamond point cutting tools can hold tolerances to within two or three microns. And is the loss of 1.5 or 2 quarts of oil worth the mileage gain, I don't know but I'm just telling you water like viscosity runs right through these motors like a sieve.

I understand exactly where You are coming from,
been-there-done-that and got the Tee-Shirt too.

But just because You only have old-school stuff to work with doesn't mean that more
modern Technology isn't seriously superior in performance.

True, it's mostly for Fuel-Mileage,
but they put a serious warrantee behind it,
and Auto manufacturers don't take these things lightly.

Toyota has been using these new Oil-formulations for almost ~3-years now,
and You haven't heard of Toyota Engines dropping like flies all over the place and requiring a re-build.

There are many Racing-Engines running 100% Synthetic 0w-30 Oils now,
and the builders can run absolutely any Oil that they prefer,
and these Engines may easily cost ~4-times what your entire Car costs new.
