My washing machine recently died 9less than 3 years old) and I am trying to figure out if its the power control board. I am getting 120vs from the wall, and when I check across the pins on the connector to the Encoder controller, its showing about 5v DC. I cannot find where it says what it requires, only that encoders typically require between 5-24v DC. Not sure what else the issue could be (already replaced the encoder being it is the lesser of the two).

When you look at the control board, can you see a dual inline i.c with seven legs?
These are prone to failing.
