A long tome ago I worked with a Philips office computer that had a core memory like that and had punched cards for its programming. The computer had a screwup with its printer circuit that I fixed by soldering a new DTL gate IC on top of another IC.

So much better (at least for me) than any video game out there...
Pong! Turn a dial. The real challenge is not to get carpel tunnel.
Pac Man! Throw a joy stick or push buttons.
Pinball? You can feel the ball hit the paddle (older games), you get sensory feedback, you feel the machine respond. You can tilt pinball but you can't tilt Pong or any of the other games out there. Does anyone make an electronic version of pinball where you can tilt if you shake the controller a little too hard?
Tiger Woods Golf: You can drive the ball and while in the air you can impart spin to the ball. Forward, back, left or right by shaking the controller. Would be nice if you could do that in the real world, change the spin in flight. And in competition mode you can impart negative spin to your opponents ball while in flight. That'd cheese off the professionals.

About 1979 I had a “Rio” in my place in San Francisco. That was one of the last flipperless United games. My friend from high school was running a game business and brought it by one day. Set up for nickels. Out in the Richmond district fog I played that thing for hours. Great fun. Then the teachers went on strike and someone broke into my place. Stole all the coins! Also the homebrew resting in the basement. I lost interest after that. But now I miss it.
