Thank you, Les. I did not see that. The level translator will not work with 0.1 to 1V. Back to the linear amplifier.
Next question; how do you get 0.1 to 1.0V out of a FPGA?

 

Hang on...does the opto-thing-a-mah-jigger expect 0-5V analog? We need to know what the input circuit properties are and what that device expects before we can suggest anything, in my opinion. We'd also need to know the fastest moving signal needed, because that will affect any suggestion anyone has...

If it's 0V OR 5V PWM'd, that's a completely different story than an FPGA outputting 0.1V-1V and having to scale that up...
