Here are my projects on VHDL(i am new):I want to implement now a full 2 bit adder.Writing the VHDL for 1 bit adder easy:
Sum <= Input 1 xor Input 2 xor Cin
Cout <= (Input 1 and Input 2) or (Input 1 and Cin) or (Input 2 and Cin)
however as we go into the 2 bit adder we encounter some issues: first of all Cout of LSB adder is Cin of MSB adder and we have 2 adders so how to add 2 identical components in the same file thanks!
