I brought a Velleman K8044 10 channel flasher kit but am finding the speed is to fast I would like it to flash every 30 seconds, does anyone know how easy this would be to achieve? Though about changing the resistance on the speed controller. I have attached a picture of the schematic.

Thank you for your reply, what sort of value would you recommend or would it be a case of trying different ones?

 

What is your current blink rate? That capacitor and the resistors above it form RC oscillator. Very roughly, doubling the capacitor will halve the blink rate.

The MCU chip included with the device cannot be reprogrammed.

Thanks for the reply, it blinks every couple of seconds. I will have a look into changing the capacitor hopefully it sort the issue.
