Glad to be here.
Newbie to this forum.
Not sure where I stand as far as credentials.
I will post a link to a plastic envelope stuffer that I designed and built with one other person.

Have been studying for a while now.
This will be the third VAWT of this type that I have contructed and the first one to integrate a generator motor(gm).
Here is a link to the very first VAWT I made.
Not an exercise in efficiency, this build will be relatively simple.
No paperwork came with the intended gm.
Am interested in sharing the build.
Most of my questions can be easily answered through the net, I am sure.
However, my goal here is to meet some good people with similar aspirations toward less dependance on outside sources of electricity.
Photo of motor attatched.

Alright, 44 views and no replys.
Don't want to ask stupid questions.
I hooked that small gm up to a cordless drill and spun it to about 500 rpm.
Went to about 26.7 volts and stayed there.
If I hook it up to a load to check current, the meter will only reflect current used by the load.
Is that correct?
