USB-to WiFi

OK, so first of all, what I mistook for a Type-C connector is a mini B not A. You don't need a BoB, just cut the end off a cable and use it as a pigtail. BUT, unless the run is very short it will not be reliable if it works at all.

Second, other than my warning at the end, the rest of the post stands. Those boxes are a pure hardware solution and will work of anything USB-data related up to the 480mbps they are rated to handle.
