I seems that there are USB thumb drives now being made with micro USB connectors that are advertised as able to be used directly with cell phones such as an Android based cell phone. They also appear to have a standard USB A male so you can use it with your PC computer also.

Simple question, has anyone tried one of these yet?
I think a lot of cell phones have the micro USB connector so i wonder if these things work ok with the phones.

These drives require an OTG (On The Go) capability for the USB port. Most new Android phones can do this.

Oh that's great i believe mine has that because it's Android 5.0 i think.
I didnt want to buy something that i might end up not being able to use.
