Ultra-thin PCB fabrication

Hello,

We currently have a 3-layer ultra-thin 0.003" board that is only able to be made by one vendor that we know of. Due to some other changes we can probably get away with a 3-layer 0.006" board now. I wasn't involved in the initial design/link up with the current company that fabs this board for us. Its very expensive and has a long lead time because of its thickness requirements, not surprisingly. It also is mandatory we have ENEPIG finish.

Anyone know if there are some reasonable materials/board houses that could work with a 3-layer 0.006" requirement using more traditional flex circuit technology perhaps to get our lead time and cost down? Or is that still too thin for any traditional fab?

It has other tight tolerances as well, probably most difficult is a few 01005 resistors and caps, but I think the biggest challenge is the thickness.
Thanks!
