Type of capacitor for AC motor: Run or Start?

Greeting folks,

I have a small mill/drill milling machine and the motor was missing, so I am using another 1.5HP motor for it. It is missing the capacitor and specifies 20MFD and 370V. However, I do not know if this is start or run type? Is this even relevent? Will any capacitor that says 20MF/370V work or do I need to specify "START" or "RUN" when seaching?

Also, considering this motor will need torque to cut steel is this the right type of motor for my need, meaning will it have torque or will it barely move a fan blade? The machine is essentially a heavy duty drill press with a moving table. It weighs about 400KG/800Lbs).

Thank you for your advice,

-Mike

Appears to be a run cap, ensure you get AC run cap rated, usually a local motor/rewind shop will have it.
It is a 1.5hp and 6 pole so it should have quite a bit of oomph.

I call them, "oil filled run caps" to be sure nobody brings me a, "dry electrolytic start cap".
Not much danger here. I don't think they make dry electrolytics with that few microfarads in them.
You're looking for a metal can that will barely fit in your pocket.
