Hi, the backlight on my daughters tv recently stopped working, rather than throw it out i thought id give my new work bench some use.
I managed to access the leds and found all but 3 of them to be functional but the connecton had been lost at a socket on the pcb. I resoldered it and can now iluminate all but the 3 faulty leds from the out put on the inverter part of the power board.
Ive found a number of low cost universal back light drivers that would make a repair economically viable (not to mention rewarding) i would however need some advise as to where on the powerboard to make connections.
Ive found numerous YouTube videos on the subject but they all seem to be in hindi.
Can anyone help?
