OK...found another interesting circuit.
Tunable, passive, poly-phase network.
I was doing a general search for I Q modulators and came across this.

Anyhow.....what a great idea. Should have thought of it.
Using a MOS transistor....as a variable resistor......for precise resistance control per node.
