Hey.

I took apart my old phone and got an idea that I could reuse some parts, mainly the display (and camera).
The phone I'm talking about is Sony Ericsson C510. http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_c510-2640.php

If possible, I'd like to make this screen plug into HDMI so I could use it with my PC and/or RaspberryPi.

Now, those parts have some connectors I'm not familiar with.
Here's an album: https://imgur.com/a/bFAYK

Is there a converter (or a device, module) I could plug into my display and have it receive input via HDMI?

I've seen a similar thing with iPhone 4 display: https://hackaday.io/project/364-mipi-dsi-display-shieldhdmi-adapter

Thanks.

Probably not. At least not without a bit of a mountain to climb. The display might be usable but it looks like it's just a raw LCD panel. It will need a controller (see next paragraph). you'll need to find a connector and get some sort of documentation. Google is your friend there.

The iphone thing you linked to uses a spartan 6 FPGA to create a controller which is going to cost around $20 for the chip alone and then you need a board ($30-60 min) for it plus the development environment. How's your VHDL?

The battery might be re-usable. did you keep the charger?
