Hi,

I plan to make a triac board for home automation. As I tested attached circuit before for non inductive load I don't need to use snubber circuit. For inductive load snubber needed. That way I need a solution to ability to switch on mechanical snubber only if needed.
I need help to find out what is the best part to switch on or off snubber. One of the working solution is using screw terminal, but I try to find a smaller simpler part.
Most dip switch is 50v 100ma. I'm not good to calculate snubber. The max power I would like to switch by triac using snubber circuit is max 12A 230V.
Is it safe to use dip switch or simple header jumper for it? (JP1 part on schematic)

Thank You
