Treadmill magnetic safety switch not working

Hello, I recently purchased a cheap treadmill and im getting an error code that tells me the safety switch isnt connected even tho it was. I contacted the company and long story short they basically said I'm on my own.

All the connections are good. There's continuity from all 5 signal wires from the control panel. I noticed there're 2 contacts labelled K, I think those somehow work with the magnet to complete a circuit. anyway I bridged them with a wire just to see what would happen and that didn't work.

Its a cheap chinese treadmill so i don't mind just having a bit of fun trying to make it work. Ive run out of ideas and was wondering if anyone here knows what components on this circuit board work with the magnet (safety key) to complete the circuit. Im hoping to figure out what it is and bridge the connection with a copper wire.

***The holes in the board that have conductive material around them and chinese symbols are labelled "K" on the back. Those are what i connected together with a wirecircuit board.jpgtreadmillerrorcode.jpg***

I suspect the 3 terminal component ringed in red is a Hall sensor. They change state with a magnetic field. The picture isnt good enough to read whats on it.circuit board.jpg
