I am developing a project in which I have to transmit video wirelessly from on board camera over long distance. I tried to explore NFR24L01 and 433MHz devices but didn't get proper details of max range and data transmission rate over long distance. Is there any way to achieve data transmission over long range with high data rate(500Kbps).

Hi,
In most jurisdictions, private RF transmissions above a minimum power level (which varies with national laws) is both illegal, and is punishable by heavy fines and/or prison sentences. There are of course, legal options available to you. Here are some, in order of ease of application:
1) Buy a website. Arrange your camera to stream the video via the Web to your site. It can then be viewed from across the world. More on this here: http://www.transformativeworks.org/vidding-index/stream-from-your-own-site/
2) Transmission on certain frequencies, known as the ISM (Industrial, Scientific & Medical) frequencies, by members of the public, are universally allowed by international treaty. Do a web search to obtain more details on this. Here is a start: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISM_band
3) Connect your camera to your mobile/cell phone. Details are here:

4) Register and qualify as an amateur radio operator (Ham radio operator) in accordance with your nation's laws which govern their operation.
5) Buy a Television station
