I project I am working on needs a 120 or 240 V AC Input (Wall Jack ) to supply DC power to both an LM55-P Current Transducer and an OPA27 Op Amp (total less than 70mA) at 12V DC + and 12V DC - output. I will need the + and - 12 volts for rail to rail voltages of both items above. I would like the circuit to allow input of multiple voltage sources (for industrial use) due to the variation of availability of sources. I dont have something I have started but its not getting me what I want . Im hoping for some help developing this. I have the circuit started below but Im not sure how to up the current to 70mA, or get a -12V output along with my +12V DC. Any help would be great. Also, I understand this could be a dangerous circuit. Not sure if a crowbar is needed or some sort of isolation.
