I'm designing the power supply to fit a commercial product I'm developing. I went with 85-265V, 50-60Hz input and 12V, 1A output to start (the load will vary based on what the user attaches to the power supply). I have been using the board mount CUI power modules for the alpha prototype, but the main problems I have with them (from the perspective of mass) are cost (both in terms of unit and assembly time into the product) and form factor (could use a little less height). The ideal solution I'm looking for is to combine my application board with the power supply.
