Need some insight for a service Job.
Mechanics shop they bought a Gantry lift off of CL but shop is 208 3p and lift is 460 3p with a internal VFD.
They also had a brand new step up transformer wired that had been mounted and wired to lift.
So no load output was 30% over nameplate.
So VFD gos into OV fault. Contacted VFD in house techs from manufacturer they replied wrong type of transformer.
Contacted VFD factroy field tech that we use for start-up (to get the 5 year warranty) they had never ran into that issue.
After some digging around on this site Voltage regulator sounds like the fix ?. unsure of the math To get correct component to build. Or Im retarded and they sell what i need on amazon.
And trying to save this guy a buck he all ready got himself in a hole and i always need some mechanic work done for trade LOL
