While I agree question asked and question answered the classic bird on a wire always makes for interesting conversation.
Think about the high voltage lines which link our power grid here in the US or for that matter North America. Many of those lines carry in excess of 3/4 million volts and those lines need inspected and maintained including the washing of corrosion off around major US cities.
This is one of several pretty cool videos of just a little of what goes on.
Once the helicopter is at the same potential as the line and less any current path a man can simply crawl along the line. Like a bird on a wire.
