Hello,

I have made a circuit using TTP223 as touch input IC for touch application.
Please find the attached file along with this thread for working details.

I have a doubt that this circuit will fit for the practical application also please suggest any other methods of doing this application.
The reason behind this logic is to make a low-cost application with touchpad input.

Regards,
Praveen

hi pk,
Looking through the TTP datasheet shows it has a low current sink/source limitation, it will not drive a relay/vibe-motor directly.
You need an additional drive stage between the TTP and the external circuit.

Thanks for your reply. The signal output from touchpad (5V) is given again through AMS1117 for getting 3.3 volts to drive the flat coin motor. Is that ok?

hi,
Your diagram shows the TTP powering the input to the AMS 3v3 Reg and also the relay coil.
The TTP output source current is only 4mA, that is too low for the AMS and relay.

Ok. Thanks for your suggestion. I will modify the circuit.
