It may be a offshoot as to what has happened in Canada since going metric, According to Weights and Measures Canada, you can use the old measure in a sale, but if doing so you have to use the proper (Imperial) measure.
But most Restaurants, Bars and Pubs here use it without compunction for their own form of 'pint' measure.
Sadly, most Canadians could not tell you what a pint is!

Joeyd999?

I US pint is 16 fl. oz.

In the U.K., 1 pint is 20 fl. oz.

Neither is anywhere close to 9.4 fluid ounces. Neither is a dry pint. What is everyone talking about?

I just reread the label and where in the world is 9.4 Fl.oz equal to 1 pint?
Max.
Seems like Freshman Chemistry:

An average (16oz) pint of ale is 5% alcohol, if my new beer contains 8.5% alcohol, how much do I need to drink to get just as mellow as an average pint makes me?
(Don't bother checking the math, people. It is correct - now move along).
