Dear All
I wrote a simple program for timer0 and Simulate using MPLAB SIM simulator
so I did not find any delay with timer0 increment. so I think delay exist only in hardware level. am I correct
please advice

 

The MPLAB simulator does accurately reflect that TMR0, in timer mode, doesn't increment for two cycles after writing a value to it.

but as per datasheet any written to tomer0 will affect 2Tcy delay
